Brazil - next part

I wrote you about two cities where I was and today I want to tell you something about third and last place - Cabo Frio.

So, we stayed there for a week. This city is a place where people from Brazil are resting at their holidays. It’s something like a polish Międzyzdroje. We came to this city because there was a choir’s festival, but we spent a lot of time at the ocean too. We had a lot of concerts there and we were the only one choir with kids and teenagers. When we arrived, director of this festival invited us to his house. Then we were singing songs and ate supper. This man really loved us and he invited to his house day before our departure too. He brought a huge delicious cake especially for us. He and our conductor became friends. We lived near the ocean in the hotel. Every day we were going sunbathing and swimming. It was really hot and sunny. Now, when I’m thinking about weather there it make me sad. In Brazil it’s summer now so it must be very hot. There was a time for shopping of course J. Everyone bought a lot of typical Brazilian flip-flops “Havaianas”. Many people, including me and my friends, got one pair of these shoes from our families from Petropolis or Rio. Of course, I bought them for my family tooJ. Maybe you are thinking about food. So, in my opinion, it’s not delicious. I’m thankful to my mum because she made a lot of Polish food when we arrived to Poland, like pierogi :D. I was eating very little - I was just drinking and eating something like crackers. In Rio our ”mum” bought a lot of fruits, but that was only in Rio. I remember when our conductor ordered a pizza and everyone was happy. I met a lot of fantastic people at this festival. After one concert, when every choir got out from church we started to sing songs together. We learned them some our songs and they learned us their songs. Everyone was happy and we had really amazing time. I love trips with my choir because I’m meeting really fantastic people and feel needed. I just see that singing for people makes me happy. At one concert we disperse throughout the church. When we were singing I saw that many people were crying. That was really awesome.
People in Brazil are very friendly. Many people invited us to schools, institutions.
I wish everyone such a great trip! I hope you will like this short text.
